About the 2015 and 2016 Proceedings – Volume 6

Our 2015 and 2016 American Association of Teachers of French Annual Conventions respectively met in Saguenay, Québec, and Autin, Texas. With this sixth volume of Selected Proceedings of the AATF Convention we are delighted to make available a selection of papers that were presented at two consecutive conventions, demonstrating once again the AATF’s commitment to scholarship, teaching, and dialogue, as well as its deep engagement in celebrating the teaching French language and French-speaking cultures around the world. Colleagues from different horizons contributed to this uniquely multifaceted volume, leading to a holistic perspective on what French studies offer and how we approach our field and roles.

We are especially thankful to all who supported this project, those who presented at the Convention, and those who submitted their work for publication. Last, but not least, we remain grateful for our Editorial Board’s reviews, hard work, and dedication.
